TAIKI SAKPISIT [Visual Artist/Filmmaker/Photographer/Film Lecturer]
Taiki Sakpisit is a visual artist and filmmaker living and working in Bangkok. His films are exhibited internationally and often cited for their poetry of images and sound that explore the dreamlike universe of space and time and their distinctive approaches toward redefining the potential of cinematic languages.
Taiki’s recent works include an exhibition Almost Invisible by Force of Habit (2009), and short films Whispering Ghosts (2008), which won Best Thai Film at Doi Saket International Film Festival and Vichitmatra Award at The Thai Short Film and Video Festival, I Did Not Dream Last Night (2009), Looking in God’s Eye (2010), Deathless Distance (2010), Unless He Tells a Lie, and Three Kings (2011).
YASUHIRO MORINAGA [Sound Designer/Recording Artist/Researcher]
Yasuhiro Morinaga is a sound designer, sound and music producer. He focuses on narrative structure by field recorded sounds with a peculiar attention to the aural community of natural environment.
As a sound designer, He has worked at different project related to films, contemporary dance, installations and product design. His eclectic approach to sound design for film has been presented at the film festivals such as Cannes, Berlin, Venice and Toronto. Morinaga’s distinctive approaches toward designing sound doesn’t conform to the conventional style and he has been regarded as one of the unique sound designer of new generation.
Also his live concert transports the audience to various time and space through the use of recorded and manipulated narrative sound. He has conducted live performances at numbers of festival and event from around the world. He has been researching the influence of field recording and produced Archival Sound Series which focuses on the field recordists on various fields.
Morinaga is founder of CONCRETE, organization which is based on the live performance event and the academic conference for sound and music in new media. Soon, CONCRETE will start working on production for audio visual publishing, film and commercial production.

映画や舞台芸術、ヴィジュアルアート等の領域でサウンドデザイナーとして国内外で活動する傍ら、世界各地の自然環境音をフィールドレコーディングして制作する音響作品は、世界各国で発表されている他、国内外のアーティストや企業とのコラボレーションも継続的に展開している。
近年、東南アジアの映画制作に携わる機会が多く、カンヌ、ヴェネチア、ベリルンといった三大国際映画祭を始め世界中の主要映画祭で正式上映されている他、国内外の美術館(ポンピドーセンターやサンフランシスコ現代美術館他)でも作品が上映されている。2009年には第66回ヴェネチア国際映画祭でシンガポールの無声映画『EARTH』を特別にコンサート上映という形で発表した他、映画祭や芸術祭でのライブコンサートやアーティスト イン レジデンスを通じたレコーディングプロジェクトを国内外で実施している。また、企業製品におけるサウンドデザイン/サウンドプロデュースも手がけており、2010年にはSONY社と共同でミラノ国際家具見本市MILANO SALONEにて新製品(モノリシックデザイン)の大規模な展示を行った他、メディア技術の視点からフィールドレコーディングにおける歴史的重要性をCD化した『Archival Sound Series: Ludwig Koch』を英国立図書館との共同でプロデュースし、フランスやイタリアを中心に反響を呼んだ。
近年、CONCRETEという組織を立ち上げ、パフォーマンスイベント、コンサート、国際会議やシンポジウムなどの企画運営も行っている。2009年には文化庁国際交流課の委託事業として音に関する国際会議『SOUND CONTINUUM』を企画運営している。
